Mumbai: The Maharashtra government on Wednesday allows the mall to reopen with a capacity of 50% from August 15 for people who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
The Minister of Health of Rajesh Tope said that people could visit the mall just 14 days after they took their second dose.

BJP in Mumbai held strong protests last Friday, demanding to allow local trains to the general public, which was fully vaccinated.
Time shops and restaurants have also been extended for up to 10 nights.
Previously, shops and restaurants were allowed to operate each of only 8pm and 4pm.
The state government will soon come out with detailed standard operating procedures (SOP) for these companies.
“It is also mandatory for the staff of these companies to be fully vaccinated,” Tope said.
He said that to facilitate social blasphemy and office space out, the state government has allowed private offices to operate 24×7.
Meanwhile, the office with fully vaccinated staff can function at full capacity, he said.
“While we allow the economic revival of these sectors, we also hope they follow all the guidelines set by the government for staff safety and their customers,” Tope said.
Outdoor wedding space can have a maximum of 200 guests, while AC Halls can have a maximum of 100 guests or 50 percent of their capacity, which is more.
The state government has delayed his decision to reopen the theater, auditorium, multiplex, and religious places.
