Maha Free Masks Not in Govt Radar: Minister of Health

Pune: The Minister of Health of Rajesh Tope on Saturday clarified that mask free conditions were not at the government’s radar and said the news did a round with respect to “false”.
“We only asked both, the state and central duty group, to define the way forward to stay with Covid, as it has been done abroad with several relaxation.
We are looking for a guide from the center on it,” said Tope, iterating that the mask must be used.
Deputy Chairperson Minister Ajit Pawar also said the state had no plans to eliminate masks, as reported by several channels.
“There is no such discussion in the country cabinet,” he said, adding that the channel should not make confusion by flashing the wrong news.
He said the head of Minster, the cabinet and members of the unit of the task of viewing that citizens had to follow the behavior in accordance with Covid and use the mask.
