Pune: The state government has extended the period to take advantage of free treatment for a number of diseases, including Covid-19, under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana in the midst of Omicron’s worries.
Every Maharashtra citizen, regardless of financial status, eligible for profit.
The government’s resolution will soon be released defining the exact extension period from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (Mjpjay).
The government had previously extended this scheme until October 31 this year.

A official government resolution will soon be issued announcing extensions,” said the regional manager of the scheme, Amol Maske.
A rather infected patient is not included in the scheme.

On May 1, 2020, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has announced that all citizens will be borne by the state government health scheme, Mjpjay, regardless of their financial status.

Health activists and Medical Practitioners Abhijit said more, “The government must do more effort to popularize the scheme because many families of middle and medium-sized households have financial constraints.”
