Pune: The state government has extended the period to take advantage of free treatment for a number of diseases, including Covid-19, under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana in the midst of Omicron’s worries.
Every Maharashtra citizen, regardless of financial status, eligible for profit.
The government’s resolution will soon be released defining the exact extension period from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (Mjpjay).
The government had previously extended this scheme until October 31 this year.
“We signaled Private Hospital Empanelel to continue to expand the benefits of free care to Covid patients and others for several more months via email.
A official government resolution will soon be issued announcing extensions,” said the regional manager of the scheme, Amol Maske.
A rather infected patient is not included in the scheme.
“Medium to severe patients who need oxygen therapy – with blood oxygen saturation below 94 – and those who need intensive care can take advantage of the benefits of the Empaneled Hospital,” Maske said.
Confirming Development, Dr.
Jitendra Oswal, Deputy Medical Director of Bharati Hospital in Dhankawdi – One of the largest Covid Hospital in Pune, “This scheme applies.
We have been asked to submit it to Covid patients who adjust the criteria of the disease.” Activists previously searched for an extension of the scheme , stating that scores in the country have suffered financially during locking.
His losses, they claim, guarantee the need for free care for a number of diseases, including Covid-19, at least for another year.
On May 1, 2020, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has announced that all citizens will be borne by the state government health scheme, Mjpjay, regardless of their financial status.
The rules are amended during locking to enter all the ration card holders under Mjpjay, so that financial constraints do not become obstacles in accessing covid treatment on time for anyone.
Health activists and Medical Practitioners Abhijit said more, “The government must do more effort to popularize the scheme because many families of middle and medium-sized households have financial constraints.”
