Mumbai: In the revised guidelines incurred on Sunday, the Maharashtra government has allowed beauty and gymnasium salons to operate with a capacity of 50 percent and only allows them to be fully vaccinated to use services.
Revised guidelines have come less than 24 hours after ordering a beauty salon and gymnasium to close together with several other places.
Notification states, “Beauty salons will be grouped with hair cutting salons and are permitted to remain open with a capacity of 50 percent with restrictions for hair cutting salons.
In these companies, only activities that do not require the elimination of masks by anyone who will be permitted.
“Gymnasium is also permitted open with a 50 percent capacity that can be used with the use of masks while carrying out any activities.
Rekha Choudhary, Health Ambassador and managing Directo, R Oneline Wellness, said that beauty salons and spas have been allowed to continue operations only about 4-5 months ago, but while the salon cannot operate.

Most of the gym owners can be closed on Sundays,” he said.
