Pune: The Ministry of Health of the State Community will oversee Covid-19 Daily cases from Friday – day 10 days Ganeshotsav begins – to monitor if there is a surge in infection, especially in the district that is a concern.

“During the past two months, Maharashtra has registered around 4,000-5,000 cases every day.
So, all districts, especially those concerned, have been asked to oversee the situation that is closely in that situation,” Achate said.
This week’s cabinet presentation highlighted that Pune, Thane, Satara, Ahmednagar and Mumbai had 70% of active cases in the state.
The public health department stated that eight districts have registered a higher WPR than the average state of 2.67%.
Awate said the state health department has directed officials in this district to increase testing.
