Pune: The 100-day campaign launched by the State Department of Education on Monday in government schools hoped to restore reading habits among the Standard I students to VIII.
This campaign is planned to improve language development by creating eternal interest in reading and writing with understanding.
Visiting the Library for playing Word games, reading poetry and finding information about famous personality is some effort to increase the return to the habit that has been lost from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The research and training of the State Education Council Maharashtra has planned for each class to follow the next three months to direct reading activities.
The campaign will be carried out until April.
Director of Scerter M D Singh said that the execution of this effort would be the responsibility of all machines involved in the education system.
“The Training and Education Department of each district must maintain a quality check on the campaign.
Schools and teachers involved must prepare campaign reports and Nodal officers must also prepare campaign videos.
Video links must be submitted by the school.
And the teacher for notes,” Singh added.
Among many activities, students and II standards can visit the school library and explore available books.
Schools need to have a library and have maximum students visit them and explore their choice books.
Every child must get one suitable book that is released to read and connect their views on the book in the fourth week.
The book must be read at home with adult attendance, the guidelines from Scerter said.

It is important to create an environment and opportunities that make it possible to read and write.
Children who fail to learn to read in the first two school grades are likely to be left behind and experiencing difficulties Study other subjects too.
