Maha Logs 5.560 Covid-19 Case, 163 Death

Mumbai: Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 5,560 new Covid-19 cases and 163 fatalities including the highest 69 in the area of ​​Pune, while 6,944 patients were dismissed from the hospital, a health department official said.
Caseload in the state rose to 63,69,002, while the death toll reached 1,34,364, he said.
On Tuesday the country has reported 5,609 new cases and 137 deaths.
The number of restored coronavirus patients increased to 61,66,620 on Wednesday, leaving the country with 64,570 active cases.
The level of recovery of Maharashtra cases is now at 96.82 percent and a mortality rate of 2.1 percent.
In 811, Ahmednagar reported the number of newest infections among the district.
Of the eight administrative areas, the Pune region reported 2,342 new cases, followed by 1,143 cases in the Kolhapur region.
The Mumbai region reported 791 cases, the Nashik 943 region, the Latur 255 region, Aurangabad 42 region, Akola 31 region and 13 cases of Nagpur cases.
Of the 163 fatalities, the highest 69 deaths were reported from the Pune region, followed by 35 in the Kolhapur region.

The Nagpur region did not report the death of one Covid-19.
The city of Mumbai saw 285 new Covid-19 cases and nine deaths.
The city of Pune reported 667 new infections and seven deaths.
With 2,11,041 samples tested during the day, the number of Coronavirus tests carried out so far rose to 5,01,16,137.
4,01,366 people were in the quarantine of houses in Maharashtra while 2,676 were in institutional quarantine.
