Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 6,686 new Covid-19 cases and 158 deaths on Friday, took the case calculation to 63,82,076 and the death toll became 1,34,730, a health department official said.
On Thursday, the country has reported 6,388 new cases and 208 deaths.
A total of 5,861 patients were removed from the hospital, taking the calculation of patients recovered to 61,80,871 on Friday.
There were 3,70,890 people in home quarantine and 2,676 in institutional quarantine.
The number of patients actively stands 63.004.
The level of recovery of Maharashtra cases was 96.85 percent while the mortality rate was 2.11 percent.
Calculation testing Coronavirus conducted in this country rose to 5.05,45552 with 2,18,740 samples tested since Thursday night.
