Mumbai: The number of Covid-19 vaccine doses given in Maharashtra crossed the 4 Crore sign on Tuesday, including a dose of crore given to beneficiaries in less than a month due to the increase in stock, officials said.
Maharashtra reached 3 crore marks on June 26, while the number of doses given had crossed a sign of 2 crores on May 13.
The state has provided 1.20 lakh doses until Tuesday afternoon, in the process of taking the overall amount to more than 4 crores.
, with 3,06,99,399 people get the first JAD and 93.35,362 get the second too, said Secretary (Health) Pradeep Vyas.
Officials say 69.11.125 people in the age group of 45 plus and 4,15,080 in the 18-44 segment have been given the second dose in this country so far.
They added that 8,85,982 health care and 10.63.221 frontline workers also received a second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in Maharashtra.
