Pune: The State Union Minister for Health and Welfare of the Bharati Pawar family on Monday rejected the possibility of reducing the gap between two covission vaccine doses, citing scientific studies.
“There is scientific evidence behind the existing gap set out between the covid vaccine dose in India, and we must stick to them.
We need to respect this study rather than issuing political comments,” he said, after taking a Covid situation stock in Pune.
The Maharashtra government plans to allow residents to be vaccinated with the first dose to participate in activities in the post-Diwali open sector mainly due to a long gap between two covishield shots.
Attracting attention to state-specific problems related to Covid detention throughout the country, Bharati Pawar said, “In the northern state, the Covid case has registered a sharp decline but several countries such as Kerala and Maharashtra still report more cases than others.
Therefore, the Government Government has not issued a blanket guideline and has asked the state to take special steps of the country.
