Mumbai: On Saturday, when 7.55 lakh people took vaccines against Covid-19, it produced more than 50 percent of the country’s adult population of 9.14 Crore was fully vaccinated against Koronavirus infection.
Nearly 85 percent of the country’s population has taken at least one shot so far.
In the capital of the state of Mumbai, the appropriate percentage is higher: 79 percent of the population of the city adult 92.3 lakh which is fully vaccinated.
More than 105 percent have taken the first vaccine in Mumbai, but health officials said the reason was that people from neighboring city areas took their shots here.
On Saturday, the additional state of Secretary (Health) Dr.
Pradeep Vyas said that “more than 50 percent of the estimates of the Maharashtra adult population was fully vaccinated against Covid”.
In the case of absolute words, 4.59 adult individual crores have achieved full vaccination in the state.
Maharashtra reached a sign of 100 million on November 9 and crossed 110 million on November 25.
On December 7, the state reached a sign of 120 million.
Although the number of Covid-19 vaccinations has risen firmly since the emergence of omicron variants from Coronavirus, health officials are worried about the slow rate of the second vaccine and are developing a strategy to increase this number.
Uttar Pradesh has more people who are double vaccinated at 5.78 crores, but it is only 38 percent of the country’s population.
