Maha Probably extend timings to keep Stores open

MUMBAI: With a dip in both cases, the state administration is very likely to provide comfort in store timings and might also allow stores dealing in non-essential things to stay open for restricted timings. The government is focusing on a strategy to permit re-opening of sectors and services from June 1 at a staggered way. Officials stated that the aid might not be extended to all districts. It’s very likely to consider particular factors such as increase in cases, lack on health and case positivity rate. “You’ll find more than 20 districts in the country that have a case citizenship speed of over 10 percent as well as based on standards, relaxations in those districts cannot be permitted,” said an official. “But a determination will be taken in consultation with the task force from the end of the week” The officer added that there might not be a lot of changes since the government would like to’wait and see’ for yet another fortnight. But, timings for stores could be prolonged for a couple of hours. At present, all stores selling products categorized as’crucial’ may stay available from 7am to 11am. The state government is also anticipated to raise presence in government offices. Presently only 15% workers are permitted in general offices. Relief and rehabilitation ministry Vijay Wadettiwar reported the state administration was considering relaxing certain limitations, but constraints to permit commuters for local trains and also to get inter-district traveling will continue for a while.
