Mumbai / Pune: Maharashtra is one of five Indian countries with the highest number of recipients who are late for their second dose, Trailing Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, data on the Ministry of Health and family welfare has revealed.
Maharashtra had nearly 95.8 lakh people whose second shot had matured up to 2 weeks / 2-4 weeks / 4-6 weeks and more than six weeks outside the interval determined between two covid vaccine doses.
The same number stands at 2.42 Crores above and 1.1 Crore in Rajasthan.

As for Covishield, Pune has the highest number of people who have not taken second shots (12 lakh), followed by Mumbai who have 6 lakh qualify for the second dose.

The State Immunization Officer Dr.
