Pune: The Public Health Department has started a refund process for more than 30 private hospitals in the state requested to restore the dosage they have purchased before the new vaccination policy starts from 1.
May to April 30, the private vaccination center is registered with Cowin being supplied Dosage at a cost of Rs 150 each after depositing funds in the National Health Authority Bank account.
But the system was stopped after the newly liberalized vaccination policy began on May 1 this year.
Private hospitals were then asked to restore the remaining doses (as on April 30) to the District Authority.
Officials said the refund process had begun through reverse payment modules through the NHA portal.
“This includes a refund for payments made by hospitals for their doses requested to return and the amount paid for the dosage they have done, but not provided,” said an official.
