Mumbai: After uptick in new cases in the last four days, Maharashtra on Friday reported a few fewer Coronavirus infections at 2,149.
A total of 29 Covid-19 patients died in the state during the day, while 1,898 patients were excluded from the hospital, said a health official.
The state load casel increased to 65.88,429 and the death toll reached 1,39,734, he said.

Maharashtra now has 29,782 active coronavirus cases.
There are 2,27,467 people in home quarantine and 1,002 others in institutional quarantine.
The Covid-19 recovery rate stated at 97.37 percent, while the mortality rate was 2.12 percent.
The cumulative number of Coronavirus tests conducted in the country rose to 6.08.09.054 after 2,62,482 samples were examined in the last 24 hours.
Among the regencies, Mumbai reported 480 new infections and five deaths, took the Caseload country capital to 7.50,974, and the death toll of 16,177.
Of the eight administrative areas of Maharashtra, the Mumbai region reported the Covid-19 new 862 cases on Friday, followed by 550 from the Pune region.
Region Nashik reported 484 new cases, Kolhapur 149, 56thral 56, Aurangabad 34, Akola nine and the Nagpur region of five new infections.
The highest 10 fatality was reported from the Nashik region, followed by seven deaths from the Pune region.
The Mumbai region reported six deaths, Kolhapur four and Akola and the monk respectively.
The Aurangabad and Nagpur regions reported no new death.
Pune City reported 94 new infections but no death.
