Mumbai: The state on Sunday enrolled a slight increase in the Daily Detection of Covid-19 cases after the lowest level of 214 days on Saturday.
A total of 3,623 new cases were reported, taking the total calculation of the country closer to the 65 lakh mark (64.97,877).
Up to 40% of cases reported from the Pune division, which continues to see the highest volume of the highest infection.
Of the 3,623 cases, registered divisions 1,446 cases.
It includes 700 cases from Pune District only, 390 from Satara, 223 of Solapur and 126 of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Corporation area.
Nashik Circle reported most cases (779), followed by Mumbai Circle (City and Mumbai Metropolitan region) with 751.
In fact, MMR recorded less than 1,000 cases for 45 days.
Aurangabad, Nagpur, Akola and the Latlat Division together contributed 206 cases on Sunday.
Daily victims remain below 100 for eleventh day in the state.
A total of 26 districts did not report Covid-19 deaths.
Forty-six on Sundays took the overall Maharashtra mortality rate reached 1,38,142.
Cases and deaths remain stable in Mumbai too.
On Sundays, 357 cases and seven deaths were reported.
Mumbai cumulative count is now at 735055 and the toll on 16.022.
Five of the seven deceased has comorbidity.
In sustainable transmission in Pune, Dr.
Pradeep kicked, the state supervision officer said the weather conditions seemed to be the most reasonable explanation.
“The weather is more conducive to viruses to develop.
If we consider our long experience with Influenza H1N1 (previously called swine flu), Pune is always affected by the worst.
Mumbai, despite population density or mobility, does not see the boiled swine flu,” he said.
Dr.
Shate put aside the role of a new variant in the Pune region.
“Delta is still dominant in the state,” he said, adding that there was no important increase in the case of Delta-Plus, sub-genres of the Delta variant.
“We constantly monitor samples,” he said.
Active cases in the state reached 50,400 and 5,244 for Mumbai.
Daily release is almost as many detection of new cases now.
