Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 4,154 new Koronavirus infections and 44 deaths on Friday, said a health official.
Need the calculation of Covid-19 cases in the state to 64.91,179 and the death toll became 1,38,061.
The number of cases of everyday and fatality witnesses marginal decline.
On Thursday the country has reported 4,219 new Covid-19 cases and 55 deaths.
With 4,524 people released from the hospital, the total patient restored rose to 62.99,760.
The state has 2,96,579 people in house quarantine, 1,952 in institutional quarantine and 49,812 active patients.
The recovery rate of the Maharashtra case is at 97.05 percent while the mortality rate is 2.12 percent.
The cumulative number of tests carried out in the country rose to 5.57.02.628 with 1,82,949 samples tested for Coronavirus since Thursday night.
On Friday, Dhule District, Hingoli, Parbhani, Akola, Amravati, Yavatmal, Washim, Gondia, and Bhandara, and the city of Dhule City, Nanded and Amravati did not report any fresh Covid-19 cases.
The Ahmednagar district continued to report the highest number of infections in 668.
followed by Pune District with 531 new infections, while the Solapur district reported the highest nine deaths in the state.
Among the eight areas of Maharashtra, the Pune region reported 1,751 new Covid-19 cases, followed by 961 cases from the Mumbai region.
Nashik region reported 852 new cases, Kolhapur 404, 133, Aurangabad 21, Nagpur 20, and Akola Region 12 new cases.
Of the 44 deaths, the highest nine deaths were reported from the Pune region, followed by eight deaths from the Mumbai region.
Significantly, Aurangabad, the territory of Akola and Nagpur did not report new deaths, while the Kolhapur region reported seven deaths and stirred areas and nashik respectively.
The city of Mumbai witnessed 441 new Covid-19 cases and five deaths, while Pune City reported 262 new cases but no death.
Pune District has 13,213 highest active cases.
