Mumbai: With a country that reported a marginal increase in the Covid-19 case, the daily level of peposititivity in Mumbai fell below 1% for the first time in a Covid-19 pandemic.
In the early days it used to be more than 30%.
The BMC renewal Covid-19 on Thursday said that 340 people were tested positively from 35,393 tested, the level of prisoner of 0.96%.
After adding less than 7,000 cases every day for six days, the state added 7,242 cases on Thursday, taking a total to 62.9 lakh, where 7.34 lakh was in Mumbai.
While the country reported a continuous in 190 since Thursday from 250 in previous days, Mumbai’s death rose to 13 from one digit in the previous days.
Active cases in the city fell to 5,492.
The active detention zone (slum and Chawl) fell to five when doubling levels increased to 1,405 days.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope said there was a surge in death in two days because several districts added to the old death on calculations while updating their data.
He said his fatality continued to be low in the state.
