Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 7,242 new Koronavirus infections and 190 deaths on Thursday which pushed Kaseload to 62.90,156 and the death toll became 1,32,335, a health department official said.
On Wednesday the country reported 6,857 new cases and 286 deaths.
The number of active cases fell to 78,562 from 82 545 on Wednesday as 11,124 patients were dismissed from hospitals during the day.
So far 60.75,888 patients have recovered in the state.
There were 4,87,704 quarantine people at home and 3,245 in institutional quarantine.
The level of recovery of Maharashtra cases was 96.59 percent while the mortality rate was 2.01 percent.
The number of Coronavirus tests conducted in this country rose to 4,75,59,938 with 1.90,181 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Bhandara and Nandurbar Regency along with the Parbhani Municipal Corporation area did not report a new Coronavirus infection on Thursday.
Of the eight Maharashtra regions, the Pune region reported the new Covid-19 case which was 2,801 in the afternoon, followed by 1,847 cases in the Kolhapur region.
A total of 1,054 cases were reported in the Nashik region, 1,011 in the Mumbai region, 375 cases at the Latur, 94 in Aurangabad, 32 cases in Nagpur and 28 in the Akola area.
The highest 48 fatality is reported in the Kolhapur region during the day, each of which is attended by 40 and 31 deaths in the area of Pune and Mumbai.
The Aurangabad area, Nashik, Latur, Nagpur and Akola each reported 26, 17.12, nine and seven fresh fatality.
The city of Mumbai witnessed 341 new Covid-19 cases and 13 deaths, while Pune City reported 344 new cases and one death.
Of the 78,562 active patients in the state, the Pune District has 16,177 highest cases.
Also, the highest number of 10,52,367 patients had recovered in Pune District.
