Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 7,302 new Covid-19 cases and 120 deaths on Thursday, took the calculation of state infection to 62,45,057 and the death toll became 1.31,038, a health department official said.
A total of 7,756 patients were removed from the hospital, pushing the number of cases restored to 60.16.506.
There were 5,51,872 people in the quarantine of the house while 3,743 were in institutional quarantine.
The state has 94,168 covid-19 patients active.
The recovery rate of Covid-19 Maharashtra was 96.34 percent, while the mortality rate was 2.09 percent.
Nandurbar District, Dhule and Wardha and Parbhani City did not record new infections on Thursday.
Capital State Mumbai recorded 389 new Covid-19 cases, taking infection counting to 7.32,971, while the death toll increased to 15,810 with the addition of 10 fresh fatality.
A total of 1,190 new Covid-19 cases and 35 deaths were reported in the wider Mumbai division consisting of its cities and satellite cities, taking the Titera of this case to 16.31.195 and the victim died to 33,925.
The Nashik Division added 886 cases and eight deaths that were 690 infections reported from Ahmednagar Regency which also reported six deaths.
Division Pune reported 2,427 fresh cases and 17 deaths.
The Kolhapur division reported 2,458 new cases and 45 deaths.
Of the 45 deaths, 12 reported from the Sindhudurg district and 10 of the rural part of Sangli Regency.
The Aurangabad division reported 59 new cases and eight deaths.
The Latur Division reported 223 new cases and three deaths.
The Akola division reported 38 new cases and no death.
The Nagpur Division added 21 cases while four people surrendered to infection in the region.
With 1,95,624 tests in the last 24 hours, the state has so far been 4,62,64,059 Coroavirus tests.
