Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 8,085 new Covid-19 cases and 231 deaths on Tuesday, took Caseload to 60.51,633 and the death toll became 1.21,804, the health department said in the release.
A total of 8,623 patients were removed from the hospital in 24 hours since Monday night, pushing the number of patients recovered to 58.09,548.
The level of Maharashtra recovery from the Covid-19 case was 96%, while the death rate reached 2.01%.
The level of participation in the country is 14.62%.
At present 6.21,377 people are in the housekeeper and 3,584 in institutional quarantine.
There were 1,17,098 patients with active Covid-19 in the state.
Capital State Mumbai recorded 556 new Covid-19 cases, taking city calculations to 7.21.516, while the death toll increased to 15,426 with 12 new fatalities.
A total of 281 new cases were reported within the limits of Pune municipalities, taking the calculation of Western Maharashtra City infection to 4,93,806, while the deaths remained unchanged at 8,165 because there were no new deaths reported.
Nagpur, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati Corporation Corporation reported 12, 208, 42, 11 and nine new Covid-19 cases.
