Maha reported 8,418 Covid cases, 171 deaths

Mumbai: Maharashtra on Tuesday reported 8,418 positive cases of Coronavirus and 171 deaths while 10,548 patients were dismissed during the day, the State Health Department said.
The day before, the state reported 6,740 cases of Covid-19 and 51aturity, which was the lowest after March 15 this year.

Akola Circle saw 74 new cases, taking the calculation to 3,54,793.
Fatality counts remained unchanged at 5,946 without fresh death reported, said an official.
Bhandara District in Maharashtra did not report one case in the last 24 hours.
Of the total 1,14,297 active cases in Maharashtra, the highest 16,670 was in the Thane district, followed by Pune and Mumbai with 16,524 and 12,240, in accordance with the Ministry of Health.
With 1,95,828 new tests, the number of samples tested so far in Maharashtra rose to 4,29.08.288, the department said.
At present, 6.38,832 people at the quarantine house in Maharashtra and 4,447 people are in institutional quarantine.
