Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 8,602 positive cases of Coronavirus and 170 deaths on Wednesday, took Caseload to 61.81,247 and the toll became 1,26,390, a health department official said.
On Tuesday, the state has reported 7,243 cases and 196 deaths.
A total of 6,067 patients were removed from the hospital in the last 24 hours, while the number of recovery rose to 59.4,801.
Maharashtra’s recovery rate was 96.17 percent, while the mortality rate was 2.04 percent, the official said.
From 4.46.09.276 Covid-19 tests conducted so far, 2.26,163 were carried out in the last 24 hours and now.
The current level of peposititivity is 13.86 percent.
At present, 5,80,771 people are in home quarantine and other 4,309 in institutional quarantine in all states.
There are 1,06,764 cases of active Covid-19.

In Mumbai, 619 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking calculations to 7.29,263, and the number of deaths increased to 15,654 with 10 new deaths.
