Maha reported 9,195 Covid-19 cases, 252 deaths

Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 9,195 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday which took the calculation of infection to 60,70,599, the health department said.
With 252 deaths, the victim died because the pandemic rose to 1.22,197, he added.
The state reported about 600 fewer new cases but more than 100 deaths more than Wednesday, when reporting 9,771 new infections and 141 deaths.
Of the 252 deaths reported on Thursday, 206 has occurred in the last 48 hours and 46 in the last week, official release said.
8,634 patients were removed from the hospital, taking the number of patients recovered to 58.28,535.
The level of Maharashtra recovery from the Covid-19 case was 96.01 percent, while the mortality rate was 2.01 percent.
The level of participation is 14.5 percent.
There were 1,16,667 patients with active Covid-19 in Maharashtra.
Capital State Mumbai recorded 656 new Covid-19 cases, took the calculation to 7.22,878, while the dead in the city increased to 15,472 with 21 new deaths.
A total of 536 new cases were found in Pune City, taking their calculations to 4,94,647, while the death toll there rose to 8,270 because 105 deaths were reported in the city even though it included some previous fatalities that were not reported.
Nagpur, Pimbri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Aurangabad and Amravati Municipal Corporation, each reported 23, 253, 67, 23 and 11 new Covid-19 cases.
Of the 1,16,667 covid-19 patients were active throughout the state, the highest 17,086 was in Pune District, followed by Thane and Mumbai with 16.105 and 12,605 patients.
In the Mumbai Division which included Mumbai and satellite cities, 2,004 new cases were found, taking the calculation of this area to 15,97,355, while 25 new deaths took the death toll in the region to 32,103.
In the Division Pune, 2,610 new Covid-19 cases were found, increasing the calculation of infection to 14,24,754, while 143 deaths took the death toll in the region to 26,055.
With 721 new cases and 10 fresh deaths, the calculation of Covid-19 cases in the Nashik Division rose to 8,90,989 and the death toll became 17,471.
In the Kolhapur division, 3,262 new cases took the case calculation to 4.17,284, while the death toll in the region increased to 11,511 with 61 deaths.
With 84 new cases and two new deaths, the calculation of cases in the Nagpur Division increased to 7.69,013 and the death toll became 13,520.
In the Aurangabad Division, 204 new cases took the case calculation to 2.81,222, and the number of deaths increased to 6,369 with two new deaths.
With 192 new cases and eight deaths, the calculation of Covid-19 cases in the final division increased to 3,35,494 and the death toll became 9,122.
In the Akola division, 114 new cases took the calculation to 3,54,342, while the death toll rises to 5,928 with only one death.
Coronavirus figures from Maharashtra are as follows: Total cases 60,70,599, new cases 9,195, total deaths 1.22.197, total recovery of 58.28,535, active cases – 1,16,667, total tests are carried out 4,18,75,217.
