Pune: The Maharashtra government is considering tweaks in his vaccination plan to broadly increase the number of beneficiaries inoculated every day.
A letter sent to all districts by Dr.
Pradeep Vyas, the principal of additional schools in the Ministry of Health, stated that Maharashtra aims to increase the number of daily vaccination sessions to almost 8,500 from an average of more than 3,000-4,000 today doing every day.
Dr.
Ramaswami N, Commissioner of the National Health Mission, Maharashtra, told Ti on Thursday that this country aims to average vaccination 13-15 lakh per day to increase coverage.
The state also told the municipality to conduct three vaccination sessions per urban primary health center (UPHC) a day and five sessions per urban health center (UCHC) a day, wherever this facility is available.
Vyas has told district authorities to increase the number of vaccination sessions after the supply of covid vaccines from the Union Government increased this month.
The two-crore vaccine dose is likely to be available for the state in September.

Ramaswami said, “Over the past few days, we achieved an average vaccination of 9.5-10 lakh per day in the state.
We now want to further improve daily shots after encouragement in the supply of the dose of the trade union government.
The aim is to ensure that number Daily vaccination remains high for a sustainable period and achieves full immunization in the state as soon as possible.
“He said the Ministry of Health also monitored carefully how many sessions planned and carried out every day in the district.
Ramaswami said even if the country got 3 crore doses in September, it would be able to use it.
“Vaccine equipment in September is expected to be more than what it is in the last two months.
The current plan is to increase the number of sessions to a minimum of 6,000 per day.
The plan to push this to around 8,500 sessions.
This will help the state increase the number of doses given per day With two to three lakhs from the current average, “he said.
