Maha to get a 2.2CR vaccine dose from the center in October

Pune: Maharashtra will get 2.2 doses of covid crore vaccines in October from the center – the highest allocation since the start of the vaccination drive, it encourages the state government to determine the appearance of an ambitious target to empty 15 lakh people every day.
Confirming its development, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope told TI on Saturday, “I thank the center to allocate more doses to the country this month.
We certainly increase our vaccination in the past month and hope to increase it further.
We even touched 15 Lakh vaccination in one day at the beginning of September.
With more doses allocated, we aim to regulate this daily target.
“Additional Head Secretary, Health, Dr.
Pradeep Vyas said the country had received 1.8 doses of crore covishield and 39.74 lakh Covaxin dosage as part of the allocation for October for the target population of 9.14 crore receivers.
The Maharashtra government has demanded three doses of crore from the center for the past three months to speed up vaccination.
The state government has issued a resolution in assembly to demand three doses of crore from the center.
“Against it, we have received at least two doses of Crore.
This will help us increase vaccination in October,” Tope said.
The Minister of Health said the state had completed the provision of two crore doses of both Covid vaccines in mid-September.
So far, the state has vaccinated 8.27 crore receivers.
From them, a total of 5.81 crore people have received the first dose of vaccines.
As many as 2.46 crores (30% of the Maharashtra population) have been fully vaccinated in the state.
Tope said intensifying vaccination was the only way to capture the spread of Koronavirus infection.
Officials emphasize that the state has assured that it will get an increase in the supply of vaccines from the center for the next two months to increase vaccination in the view of the festival.
Quoting Navratri and Diwali Festival in front, Tope said, “We must follow the Covid-19 protocol strictly and increase vaccination.” He said guidelines had been spent for Navratri also to ensure that there was a closed in the number of people attending functions with strict compliance with the Covid protocol.
The minister said only Ahmednagar Regency currently showed a high level of weekly (WPR) and local authorities consider it.
Recent cabinet records have shown the Ahmednagar Regency WPR at 4.27% – the highest in the state.
The Average WPR Maharashtra was pegged at 2.11%.
The Covid Task Force of the previous state has warned people they have to remember Coronavirus not to go and there must be strict obedience to the Covid protocol in the middle of the opening process.
