Nagpur: The test runs in achieving Mahametro-IV between Sitabuldi Inter-Change and the Vaishno Devi Square Metro Station is held on Friday.
Run Test is a pre-cursor for the launch of a commercial service at Sitabuldi-Prajapati Nagar Nagar Metro Station in the coming days.
“Nearly 99% of the project work on reach has been completed and resting will be completed in the next 10 days,” said Brijesh Dixit, Managing Director Mahametro.
In accordance with the press release, the metro alignment runs parallel to Central Avenue.
The whole stretch of range – IV, excluding Sitabuldi Interchange, has a total of nine stations – cotton markets, Nagpur train stations, Dosar Vaishya Square, Chitar Oli, Exchange Square telephone, Ambedkar Square, Vaishno Devi Square and Metro Station Prajapati Nagar.
This section will function as a connecting point between the eastern and western nagpur.
Talking to the media, Dixit says that after work on reach-IV ends, the Safety Commissioner of Metro Rail (CMR) will carry out mandatory inspections, how to paving to start passenger services on that route .
