Pune: When the bridge works and tracks on two priority stretches have reached its last stage, Mahametro said it would try to ensure that the rakes made a little noise during daily operations.
It also clarifies that there is no need to honk during regular ran train because most of the functions will be automatic and based on advanced technology.
Mahametro officials said that the need for sound obstacles appeared when there was a sharp curve or close to companies like a hospital.
“We use advanced technology on the Metro line.
Also, the roots are being introduced for commuters equipped with the latest technology,” said an official from Mahametro.
The Metro Bridge was built by considering curvature, officials from Mahametro added.
“Therefore, the Metro train will create less on the turn.
Even the announcement at the Metro station is being established in such a way that it will make a less noise,” the official from Mahametro added.
Pune Metro is expected to receive 34-made aluminum rakes, which will be a light weight and specifically designed for Pune requirements.
Until the new rakes arrived, Mahametro will use a rake sourced from the Nagpur Metro.
Hemant Sonange, General Manager (PR) in Mahametro, said, “The use of current horns, when running a raku on the bridge, is part of the ongoing trial and to remind those who work on the track and station,” he said.
Most systems will run automatically, he said.
There will be a constant review of the system and improvisation will take place as soon as the train will start running based on aregular, “added Hemant Sonawane.
Atul Gadgil, Director (working) at Mahametro, said that the Metro train driver would barely take advantage of the horn when the train ranged from commuting because partly The large train function will be based on a sophisticated system.
He also added that the horn is also applied to remind those who cross the track.
However, because the track is on the ground, anyone’s chances of entering the track will be minimal.
