MahaMetro’s Neo Strategy to Conserve Rs2k cr to Get Warangal

Nagpur: Following intending nation’s first MetroNeo job for Nashik, the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, called MahaMetro, has added another feather in its cap by offering layout depending on the revolutionary idea to Warangal town in Telangana.
Because of this cost-effective plan ready by the MahaMetro, Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA), intending authority for neighboring towns of Warangal, Hanamkonda along with Kazipet and adjacent places, will conserve Rs2,000 crore.

According to the DPR, duration of Warangal MetroNeo is going to be 15km and it’s going to be constructed at a price of approximately Rs1,000 crore.
The price per km of the endeavor is Rs60 crore, against Rs180 crore per km of conventional heavy Metros.
