Pune: The supply of covishield to civil sitions that is inconsistent in the district has triggered concern among those who depend on free Covid vaccination.
Private hospitals still have good vaccine reserves, but civilians – where the jab is free – important for coverage in low-income environments.

The staff in the centers told me that they did not know when the dosage would be available next.
I tried several centers near Parvati, but they also did not have a dose.

PMC immunization officers, Suryakant Devkar, said new shares would be enough to drive vaccination a day.
“We have 196 sites for Thursday and six covishield drives for covaxin sessions,” said Devkar.
PCMC on Thursday will only accommodate Covaxin drives, from four sites, officials from the Civic Agency.
