Mumbai: ICSE students (class X) get a national success rate of 99.98% and ISC (class XII) 99.76% in the first results that are not based on the exam announced on Saturday.
While ICSE Maharashtra students reached a perfect 100% success rate this year, a high score will not help in the reception to the first year’s junior college because the general entrance test score (CET) will be given a priority in the first round, report Sandhya Nair & Hemali Chhapia.
Meanwhile, students of class XII state passed gradually 99.94%.
Their secondary secondary certificate (HSC) and CBSE class XII partners are waiting for their results.
They will likely be announced next week.
The Supreme Court, in June, has directed all countries to declare their XII results on July 31.
2.2 Lakh students have registered for the ICSE exam, which canceled because of a pandemic.
They are rated based on their IX and X class scores.
In Maharashtra, all 24,358 students in 234 schools passed ICSE.
Both boys and girls in the state perform equally good.
For the second year in a row, there was no list of achievements stated.
For ICSE and ISC, almost all councils for examination of Indian School Certificates (Cisce) schools in Mumbai and throughout India see a leap at 90% and a score.
Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary, Cisce, refused to comment on high scores.
In most ICSE schools in the city, there are only two groups of students – a larger number with a 90% score card and above and a small portion of those who have scored 80%.
At the Fort and John Connon School Cathedral, Director and Principal of Meera Issacs talking about “complicated systems enforced by the Board to calculate the final score”.
The school has 193 students who secure more than or equal to 90% and seven who have scored between 80% and 89%.
Sunita George, head of Bombay Scottish School at Mahim, said, “In class X, of 236 students, 200 has received more than 90%, and in it there are subset of 37 students who have 98%.
And one child restrictions printing 79% , the rest stands between 80% and 90%.
Our results are fantastic.
“Last year, 99.9% of students graduated in the state after several papers were canceled due to locking throughout the country.
The high percentage pass has affected the acceptance to FYJC.
In 2019, before the pandemic, the percentage of the ICSE pass in Maharashtra was 99.85.
While a state education officer said that Cisce had consistently gave a very high score to his students, Rohit Bhat, the chairman of the children’s academy school group called it as a result that was well-tacked when compared to other boards.
“80% of students from three schools we got 90% and above.
But there are no black horses.
Students who consistently score goals,” said Bhatt.
Supporting high results, Alice Vaz, Principal Ryan International, Kharghar said, “One of my boys lost his mother for Covid, but managed 96.4% was commendable.” Jhalak Mehta, who lost his father Manoj (52) at Gokhale Bridge Collapse among the three CNH school students, Vile Parle, to score 98.8%.
Dr.
Gayatri Sharma, Principal, P international school, Mira Road, said his student Ayesha Hadfa, who topped the school with 99% would get the same score if he wrote a physical examination.
The SSC results announced last week had more than 1 lakh students in the 90% category.
In various regions in India, the South recorded a success rate of 100%, followed by the Western region at 99.99%.
Schools outside India register a percentage of 100% pass.
In India, 13 states secure a 100% success rate for class X and XII.
Nine states, including, Bihar, Gujarat and West Bengal, have a success rate of more than 99%.
