MUMBAI: The state board tests for Courses 10 and 12 at Maharashtra have already been cancelled this season in light of the prevailing coronavirus pandemic,” minister Vijay Wadettiwar declared on Thursday.
Talking to colleagues, rehabilitation and relief minister Wadettiwar stated, The state board examinations of Courses 12 and 10 are all cancelled.
“Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had indicated about it from his previous address to the nation.
A (formal) choice was taken now.”
The Maharashtra government’s decision came two weeks following the Centre cancelled the CBSE Class 12 board examinations mentioning the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Class 10 (SSC) board tests in the country were cancelled before because of a spike in COVID-19 instances, however, a formal announcement was made on Thursday.
Some individuals had compared the cancellation of examinations but in todays assembly CM Thackeray, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar and other officers concerned, it had been decided to cancel the examinations, Wadettiwar stated.
