Thane: Local train services for Kalwa, Mumbra, Copar and Thakurli commuters will remain not available for 36 hours starting Saturday afternoon when the central train will operate a block in the Thane-Kaly part to complete the important foot of the expansion of the Project Thane-Diva corridor.
The block will be operated on both slow lines starting at 14: 1,2022 (Saturday) and will expire at 2am at 10.1,2022 (Monday).
Officials said this was one of the biggest infrastructure blocks on this stretch carried out to cut and connect the new tracks placed between Thane and Vitava (Kalwa) with a slow corridor and commissioning crossover and other allied work that must be done.
Towards the block, all slow / semi-service fast leaving Kalyan starting at 2:00 to 2 noon and all slow / semi services quickly left the omelet from 12.54pm until 1.52 in the afternoon on Saturdays will be transferred to each fast line between Kalyan and Matunga And jump stop at Thakurli, Copar, Mumbra, Kalva, Nahur, Kanjurmarg and Vidyavihar.
During the block schedule, all the trains are slow to be transferred on a quick track between Kalyan and passing Mulund stops at Thakurli, Kalwa, Mumbra and Kalwa in both directions and passengers from this station can take a local train from Thane, Diva, Dombivli and Kalyan or travel by bus specifically used by city companies.
The block will also lead to cancellations of all dombivli originating and ending local residents and several Express trains.
