PALGHAR: The body of a new 24-year-old woman who was married was found in a flat in Virar in Palghar district on Saturday morning, after two teams were formed during the day to resolve the murder case, said an official said.
The victim, who was identified as Priya Kambun, was married on October 24, and her husband was working on a night shift when the murder took place on their third floor, the Virar Sho police station told PTI.
“Her husband went to shift on Friday night and returned in the morning today.
He found Priya’s naked body lying on the ground, with the gap of his wrist.
The case has been registered against an unknown person,” he said.
