Maharashtra, Bengal told to take strict action to prevent fraud vaccination camp: Center

New Delhi: Fraud vaccination camps in Maharashtra and West Bengal have arrived at the central notifications and state governments have been directed to investigate this and take strict action to prevent such incidents in the future, Rajya Sabha is informed on Tuesday.
The Minister of State for Health Bharati Pravin Pawar replied to the question at home whether the example of the fraud vaccination camp had arrived at the notification of the trade union government.
He said examples of malapractic in Maharashtra and West Bengal have noticed the Indian government where with the pretext of covid vaccination, the guess that some other products were given to beneficiaries and the reported vaccination sessions were not carried out through Cowin.
“The Ministry of Health has been aimed at the state government to investigate these incidents and take strict action so that such an incidence of fraud is not repeated in the future.” Furthermore, communication has also been sent to all states and UTS that must be registered by all beneficiaries.
On the co-win portal and all the vaccination sessions must be recorded on co-win, “said Pawar.
