Pune: In the middle of the request by students for the cancellation of the offline exam because of the Covid-19 situation, the State Council of Maharashtra in Secondary and Medium Education (MSBSHSE) on Thursday clarifying that the exam for class 12 and 10 will be carried out offline mode.
The Board made an announcement after the protest held by students in the state earlier this week, which demanded that the offline exam for secondary school certificates (SSC / Class 10) and high school certificates (HSC / Class 12) were canceled due to a pandemic.

“Considering a large number of students who emerge for examinations and other technical problems related to the disobedience of the device, it will be difficult to carry out an online check.
Therefore, the Board has decided to conduct an offline council exam,” Sharad Gosavi, “said the board director.
Class 12 examination will be carried out between March 4 and April 30 and the practice will be held from February 14 to March 3, stated.
The Board also announced the date for the exam “out of turn” between March 31 and April 18 to carry out practices, internal or oral examinations for students who cannot appear for the exam on the previous date for any reason.
“Usually, the Board imposes an additional fee for the exam outside the turn, but because the Covid-19 pandemic has decided not to impose additional fees,” the official said.
SSC examination will be carried out between March 15 and April 4, while practice or oral practices will be held between February 25 to March 3, stated.
The out-of-turn test will be carried out between April 5 and April 22, he said.
According to Board officials, 16.25,311 students have submitted an SSC exam so far, while 14,72,562 has submitted an application for HSC.
“Usually, the inspection center is still given to students.
However, this year the examination center will be in their own school or junior college to make them feel comfortable,” the official said.
The Board has also decided to give 15 minutes extra to mark the 9-60 and 30-minute exam papers extra for the exam paper with a sign between 70 and 100.
This will apply to SSC and HSC both, he said.
“Every center will have a separate room if a unhealthy student and medical staff will be available,” he said.
The Board has also increased the number of exam centers to avoid density, the official said.
“The maximum of 25 students will be accommodated in class.
There used to be 5,042 SSC exam centers and now we have raised it to 21,341.
Previously, there were 2,943 HSC exam centers, but now they have increased to 9,613,” the official was added.
