Maharashtra Cabinet Meets Delaying as many Ministers Covid-19 positive

Mumbai / Thane: The weekly state cabinet meeting that will be held on Wednesday has been postponed next week because several cabinet ministers have been tested positive for Covid-19 in the last few days.
The latest to test positively is the Development Minister of Urban Eknath Shinde.
The ministers began testing positive during the winter session which had just been concluded from the state legislature.
At least 8-10 ministers in the state and more than 20 MLA have been tested positively in recent days.
Minister of Education Varsha Gaikwad, Minister of Tribal KC Padvi and the Minister of Development of Women and Yashomati Thakur was among the ministers who tested positive in the past week.
Apart from Shinde, 3 others Sena Netas – MPS Arvind Sawant and Rajan Vichare and MLA Pratap Sarnaik – said on Tuesday that they had been tested positively.
