Pune: Police in the Solapur District of Maharashtra have registered a case against two sons of Mla Rajendra Raut due to violations of Norma Covid-19 during their marriage, allegedly, attended by more than 2,000 people.
Two Putra Raut, Independent Legislator from Barshi, married on Sunday with a function at the location of the Laxmi agricultural product committee politely in the city.
Barshi police previously registered a violation of Yogesh Pawar, the alleged organizer of the event, under the relevant provisions of the Indian criminal code, disaster management laws and epidemic disease laws.
The action raised the eyebrows because there were no cases registered in each family member of the Raut.
“We have now added the names of MLA’s sons to Fir,” said Senior Inspector S D Girigosavi on Thursday.
Only 50 people who are allowed to attend the function of marriage in the state today are in accordance with the limit induced pandemic.
