Mumbai: Counts of Omicron cases confirmed in the country crossing 1000-mark on Saturday with the addition of 133 new cases.
The country now has 1009 new variant confirmation cases, including 566 from Mumbai and almost 300 of Pune District.
Of the 133 cases Saturday, 118 was detected from Pune, eight of Pimpri Chinchwad and three of the rural Pune.
Two cases were reported from Vasai Virar and each of Ahmednagar and Mumbai.
The state said that 439 patients had been dismissed from all cases of total.
