Ulhasnagar: Seven gang robbers suspected of trying to get into the place of financial companies in Ulhasnagar were arrested early on Sunday.
The police said that they foiled the robbery efforts on time and arrested seven red hands.
One of their hands managed to escape.
Last week, the gang had taken a shop in the camp 4 on rent, beside the Muthoot Finance office.
The accusation had told the shop owner that they would set up a fruit shop.
Their plan is to enter the place where the wall sharing stores, said the Harshal Rajput sub-inspector from the Vithalwadi police station.
“The company expands loans against guarantees.
So, the gang has arranged jewelry and cash in the office.
The office has valuable items worth Rs 10 Crore stored inside,” Rajput said.

Without specific intelligence, the police have maintained a vigil around the finance company around the location, the Senior Police Supervisor said K Th Thorat.
Around 11:30 a.m.
on Saturday, the police patrol team paid attention to several activities “unusual and saving” in the building where Muthoot Finance’s office took place.
“Some men buzzing at that hour.
Also, buzz like drones are at close range,” said Sub-Inspector Rajput.
When the police moved closer, they heard the sound of drilling machines, said an official.
Realizing that those who hid inside can be a handful of patrol teams, more reinforcements are sent.
The police team forced the gang to open the shutter.
They found a gas cutting machine to a Jimmy locker, screwdriver, gas cylinder and revolver.
One of them escaped, said Senior Thorat Inspector.
Those who were arrested were identified as Jahir Ahmed (30), Immamuddin Qasim Khan (57) both from Uttar Pradesh, Ram Singh (32 of Nepal and four of Jharkhand – Rijul Shaikh (35), Kalu Shaikh (55), Tapan Mandal (55) ), 48) and Ajim Shaikh (28).
Five of them were also involved in the same theft in Thane, Letter and Delhi, said other police officers.
