Maharashtra: Drive Vaccine Covid-19 in 5,000 Universities, Possible Offline Exams Next Semester

Pune: A mega drive on Covid-19 vaccination will be conducted in around 5,000 universities in all states from October 25 to November 2, to ensure that students over 18 years can obtain the Minister of Higher Education and Technical Uday Samant, said at a press conference at the College of Engineering, Pune on Friday.

Efforts will be made to conduct a term-end inspection in offline mode for the next semester anywhere allowing students to attend offline classes that need full vaccination, he said.

Instructions have also been given to the Joint Director who stated for this.

Samant has interacted with students from college and he said he planned to do it around 50 colleges in the state.
“We know that because Diwali, students might want to continue online until the festival ends and then goes for online education.
10-15 today will be beneficial for universities and universities because they will get time to clean the area and make the necessary preparations,” added Minister.
Samant said that student mindset needs to change from online to the offline exam now and for offline classes must begin.
