Pune: Police Loni Kalbhor on Thursday arrested eight people, including restaurant, son and nephew owners, and ordered two others for conspiring and killing restaurant owners in Uruli Kanchan on July 18.
The king of the business has been designated as a prima facie motif behind the murder of Ramdas Akhade, police said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone V) Namrata Patil said, “CCTV recordings have captured images of attackers and others.
The analysis of their calling data led the researcher to Balasaheb Khedkar (56), the owner of the restaurant, and his son Nikhil (24).
Balasaheb did his nephew’s assistance for Renting seven people to kill Khade when the restaurant was fine.
