The hospitality industry has urged the government to extend working hours both from an economic standpoint and for better implementation of Covid norms, especially social distance.
With the first zero-covid death day registered in the city on Sunday, and given the recent statement made by BMC before the Bombay High Court that it did not expect the third wave, the Association of Hotels and Indian restaurants (Ahar), has once again repeated His request to expand the operational timing of the city restaurant to the pre-covid period of time, which is up to 1.30 taking into account that Diwali is on the corner.
Previously, Ahar had written to the BMC Commissioner and Maharashtra minister’s head asking the same thing.
“This is an extraordinary achievement for BMC and state administration to achieve control over a pandemic.
Interestingly, BMC has notified the High Court that Mumbai is safe and drive vaccination runs smoothly without a lack of vaccines.
The Civic’s body also revealed that 97% of the city population had been Receiving the first shot, 55% was fully vaccinated.
So the restaurant owner, the hotel and bar did not see the reason to stick to 10pm, “Shetty shows.
Senior Vice President Hrawi Pradeep Shetty said, “We have submitted a petition to the government that the original economic activity must be restored.
Because Mumbai is the most limited area throughout the country, we are very pleased to know that the Chairman of the Minister of UDDHAV Thackeray has taken it as a positive holder.
It will help in the rise of the hospitality industry in the background of a large loss.
“” For multiplex and the time of the cinema room is not a consequence today but occupancy.
Unless it is not allowed in the hall.
The film-big budget will not be released because they are not Will be financially feasible steps to allow night shows, “said Prakash Chaphalkar, Secretary of the Indian Multiplex Association.
Shivanand Shetty said, “Because the time limit of 10 nights, we can only do business is limited.
As a BMC is worried about citizens, we are both worried about our customers’ security and will instruct our members to strictly comply with all SOPs.
Because of the pandemic, This industry has experienced a lot of difficulties in the last 18 months and now because everything opens and raises a quick time approaching, don’t dampen a festive spirit with restrictive timings.
