Maharashtra: Faces of RS 1L School Good Not to Make Marathi Must Be

Nagpur: The State Education Department on Monday asked all division level officials to start issuing notifications for fine RS 1 lakh to schools that have not implemented a maratory as a mandatory subject.
Maharashtra must teach and language learning Marathi in the school law was introduced in June 2020.
While the State Council school teaches Marathi, non-state board – Secondary Education Board, Indian School Certificate Examination Board, Cambridge Board General Educational Certificate, Baccalaureate International and Institute National Open School – Must introduce Marathi for Class I to VI, gradually.
In this academic year, Marathi must be taught to class I, II, VI and VII.
