Thane: Thane police have arrested a 41-year-old man for allegedly beat his 10-year-old son to death because he stole Rs 50 from him.
The physical attack was so brutal so that the boy had a few broken throughout his body, and his skull was broken.
Family members sleep around the body all night, police said.
The defendant, Sandeep Prajapati 41, is a resident of the Waghoba Nagar region in Kalwa.
According to the police, the neighbor at around 11:30 a.m.
on Wednesday heard Karan’s shout, one of three children accused, begged his father not to beat him.
After that neighbors don’t see any activity.
The next morning, the boy’s aunt came to visit but did not get a response to repeat the knock on the door.
He then contacted the neighbor and the police were called.
The police saw the boy lying on the floor wrapped in a blanket with his sister on the side.
Prajapati was arrested.
The police said the boy was present at the time of the incident.
