Thane: Police Thane on Friday registered a case of extortion and kidnapping of former Police Commissioner of the City of Param Singh, a deputy presentation of the Police Commissioner and three others at the Kopri Police Station.
The developer of Sanjay Punamia, Entrepreneur Sunil Jain, mentioned in this case, was arrested in the case of the Marine drive and was in police custody.
Manoj Ghotkar’s name also appeared in the first case.
The complaint was submitted by Sharad Agrawal, the nephew of Shyam Sunder agrawal developer, a complainant in the case of the Marine drive.
Both complaints are in the same line.
According to the complainant, between November 2016 and May 2018, Punmiya, Jain, Ghotkar, Manere and Singh, in Convance with each other, initially “squeezed” Rs 2 Crore from him.

Jaijit Singh, Police Commissioner Thane said, “At present, two defendants have been arrested by Mumbai police.
