Maharashtra: Fire scrap in Thane; No More casualties

THANE: A significant fire destroyed a garbage godown at Maharashtra’s Thane district in the wee hours of Tuesday, a civic officer stated.
There was no record of any casualty, ” he explained.
The blaze erupted around 2.10’m from the godown situated at Mankoli at Bhiwandi township, Thane Municipal Corporation’s Regional Disaster Control Mobile main Santosh Kadam said.
A fire two water tankers were hurried to the place along with the blaze was brought under control from approximately 6am, he explained.
“The godown was totally ruined.
No one has been hurt in the event,” he explained.
A probe was about to determine the reason for the fire,” he added.
