Mumbai: Maharashtra has become the first country in the country to fully vaccinate one crore against Covid-19.
As on Monday, the state has provided two doses at 1,00.99,524 people – almost 11% of a total of 9.37.98,052 fully vaccinated throughout India – while 2.15 crore has got the first jab.
Consider the total population of adult countries from 8.5crore, it means that almost 12% of people are fully vaccinated and 25% have one dose.
While remaining at the top of the graph after being given most of the doses among countries at 4.52crore, the number has managed to vaccinate completely more than 73Lax.
Maharashtra has provided 4.17crore doses because the National Drive starts on January 16.
Starting with more than 230 centers, vaccination centers now increase to 4,100 in the state.

Pradeep Vyas, an additional principal, health, said the momentum of the drive will depend on the volume of the received dose.
“After the Monday session, we have more than 16 doses of lakh,” he said.
Vyas said the flood could disrupt transportation and affect vaccination in several villages.
Ratnagiri, for example, is given less than 400 shots on Monday.
Although Raigad was also hit by a flood, he managed to vaccinate more than 8,000.
Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray and Minister of Health Rajesh Tope praised the Ministry of Health to achieve that achievement.
The maximum vaccination has been in the age group above 45 years where 74.28lakh has obtained both doses while 1.01 crore has got a dose.
In the 18-44 bracket, around 4.5lakh was vaccinated with the two temporary doses 99.56lakh had received the first dose.
Among health care workers, 8.97lakh was fully vaccinated while 3.88lakh had taken a single dose.
And more than 11laxy frontline workers have been fully vaccinated while a little more than 10 lakh have taken the first shot.
Among the districts, Mumbai has given the highest dose at 69.66lakh followed by Pune with a dose of 59.12lakh.
After several Lull Day, a total of 88,019 people were vaccinated in the city on Monday.
The group of 18-44 formed a large portion of daily vaccination followed by a 45-59 bracket.
