KALYAN: A petrol leakage in the chemical factory in Maharashtra’s Badlapur triggered fear among sailors on Thursday night.
The incident happened at 10.22pm in Nobel Intermediates Pvt Ltd business in Shirgaon MIDC.
No accidents were reported at the accident but sailors complained of tingling and irritation in the eyes.
Fire brigade official said petrol leakage caused because of overheating after having a chemical reaction between sulfuric acid and benzyl acid in the business.
The fire brigade rushed to the place as well as the congestion has been stopped about 11.24pm.
