Maharashtra Govt to train 2,000 OBC students for MPSC, 1,000 for the UPSC exam: Minister

Aurangabad: The Maharashtra government has decided to train 2,000 OBC students for the Maharashtra Public Commission (MPSC) and 1,000 for the examination of the Public Service Commission (UPSC), the Minister of Disaster Management Vijay Wadettiwar said on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters in Aurangabad, the minister said the talks were also ongoing with airlines to provide pilot training to 25 students every year.

“Under Mahajyoti, we will train 2,000 OBC students for the MPSC exam and 1,000 for the UPSC exam,” Wadettiwar said.
Likewise, a project will also be carried out to train 25 people as commercial pilots, which 33 percent will come from VJNT class and 67 percent of the OBC category, he said.
Talking about the appointment of MPSC board members, Wadettiwar said that other communities must also be given preferences when appointing members, and this problem will be taken with the minister’s chairman.
The state government plans to form a separate commission to collect the data needed in court for OBC’s political order, he said.
The next minister criticized the Union cabinet to clear the constitutional amendment bill that tried to give me the power to make the OBC list itself.
“The bill served in the parliament is incomplete.
The central government has pushed its responsibilities to the countries about reservations.
Without constitutional amendments, reservations exceed 50 percent are impossible,” he said.
